Daniel
Tumarkin was born in 1956, and has been a lifelong resident
of Florida.
Danny
attended University of Florida, receiving a B.A. with honors in 1979,
and a J.D. in 1982. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982, and
U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1983.
Danny
has been a lecturer and instructor at the Florida Public Defenders
College, the Osceola County Citizens Law School, the Hugh O'Brian
Youth Foundation, and a judge for Osceola County Teen Court.
On three
occasions, Daniel Tumarkin has been nominated for
a judgeship in Orange County, has served as a Florida Supreme Court
appointee to the Children's Court Improvement Committee.
Daniel
Tumarkin practices criminal law and has a reported case
of State of Florida vs. Lawrence Randolph Howard, 632 So.2d 1045
(Fla. 5th DCA 1994).
MEMBER: Danny
has been a member of the Orange County Bar Association, as well as
the Osceola County Bar Association where he was Secretary Treasurer
in 96/97. In Osceola County, Danny served on the Domestic Violence
Task Force-Judicial/Court Subcommittee Chair 94-95, and the Juvenile
Justice Council-Co-Chair 94-00. He is a member of the Central Florida
Criminal Defense Association and Past President U of F ACLU. John
